2026 Horticultural Flower 

HOUSE PLANTS - Class 21

Sections 35 to 55

Must be potted at least three months before the Fair and grown by exhibitor.

35. Begonia, fancy foliage

36. Cactus/succulent mix garden, minimum of 3 varieties in one container

37. Cactus (Cacti have small, round, cushion-like structures called areoles from which spines, branches, hairs, leaves and even flowers grow. While many succulents may look like cacti, if they do not have these circular areoles, they are not in the cactus family)

38. Coleus - disbudded

39. Fern – all ferns have spores (small dots) under the fronds. If it flowers or has fruit, it is not a fern

40. Geranium/Pelargonium, potted, in bloom

41. Herbs – minimum 3 different cultivars, potted in 1 container, named

42. Hoya

43. Indoor hanging plant(s) not grown for bloom, 1 cultivar

44. Ivy (Hedera)

45. Jade plant

46. Orchid, blooming

47. Outdoor hanging container of assorted plants

48. Patio Pot/Container, 1 or more cultivars

49. Sansevieria (example - Mother in Law’s Tongue)

50. Spider Plant(s), more than one plant may be in the container as long as they are the same cultivar

51. Succulents, 1 cultivar, cactus not to be included (see definition of cactus in item # 37)

52. Unlisted house plant(s) in bloom, 1 cultivar, named

53. Unlisted house plant(s) not grown for bloom, 1 cultivar, named

54. Violet, African, in bloom, single crown

55. ZZ plant

Woodstock Agricultural Society is pleased to say that we are moving on with the times, and you may now register your entries online on Assist Expo.

Go to Assist Expo to create a new account.

You can still register using paper registration forms, which are available at the office in the Oxford Auditorium, Monday to Thursday from 9AM to 4:30PM. Please note that you will need paper entry tags for your exhibits, regardless of how you register.
