General Rules
1. In these rules and regulations:
Membership
1. Any person shall be eligible to become a member of the Society upon payment of an annual fee of $5.00. Memberships may be purchased up to September 1st of the current year.
2. All fair exhibitors (except 4-H members and persons age 18 and under entering specific youth categories) MUST BECOME A MEMBER OF THE SOCIETY
Entries
1. Entry forms are enclosed with the prize list. One must be completed for all fair entries. Note Deadlines on the entry form.
2. See each section for further regulations and entry fees.
3. All entries must be made in the name of the owner of the exhibit.
Livestock
1. Water for livestock will be supplied under the supervision of the Superintendent or Director in charge. No bedding is provided. No smoking will be allowed in any of the buildings.
Judges and Judging
Judges shall in all cases withhold premiums where the animal or article is not worthy, even though there may be no competition, and may award second or third premiums where they consider the animal or article below proper standard of excellence. Because the decision of the judge is final, as to the awarding of prizes, no protests shall be allowed.
2. The entry ticket issued by the fair office must be displayed by the exhibitor. No one shall be allowed to influence the judge before or during the judging of a class.
3. No animal will be allowed to compete in more than one class or section except otherwise specified in this prize list, but exhibitors may exhibit a number of animals and receive as many prizes as may have been awarded for different animals in the same class
4. No one may enter more than one exhibit in any single section in the Horticulture or Home Craft Classes.
5. No person shall use improper language or conduct in the presence of a judge or official.
6. In no case shall anyone act as judge of his/her own property.
7. All protests must be made in writing, stating plainly the cause of complaint, "against any irregularity or breach of the rules", and must be delivered to the Secretary, during or before the close of the Fair.
8. A fee of $5.00 shall accompany the protest which will be refunded if the protest is sustained. All protests will be adjudicated by the Executive Committee.
Prizes
1. If any article or animal is taken from the grounds before the time specified, the exhibitor of the same shall not be entitiled to any prize which may have been awarded
2. The Board of Directors reserve the right to pay only a portion of the Prize Money on the case of unfavourable weather during the fair.

Power of Society
1. All Exhibits shall be under the control and direction of the Society but solely at the risk of the exhibitor. The Society will not be responsible for damage, injury, loss or theft of any exhibit, regardless of the cause of such damage, injury, loss, or theft. Each exhibitor will be solely responsible for any article exhibited by him/her and shall indemnify the Society against all legal or other proceedings in regard there to.
2. No person shall be allowed to drive or ride horses on the show grounds faster than a walk, except within the show ring, under penalty of immediate removal from the Fairgrounds.
3. The enforcement of the rules and regulations shall be within the powers of the Director in charge. Penalties for any breach shall be determined by the board of directors.
4. Should any dispute or question arise not provided for in the rules and regulations, the decision of the Board of Directors shall be final. In case of error in the printing of this prize list, the directors have the power to rectify the same.
5. Competitive exhibitors will pay admission.
6. If any errors or misprints occur please excuse them and check with a convenor if necessary.
