The Woodstock Farmers Market

Est. 1854

There has been a Woodstock Market almost as long as there has been a Woodstock.

The original market began in the Old Town Hall in 1853 until the 1870's. Then, until 1895 the market was located in wooden market sheds. Council decided to replace the wooden sheds with a brick building worthy of a growing industrial city. The market moved from downtown to the Woodstock Fairgrounds in 1993, and is administered by the Woodstock Agricultural Society. The market features local produce, maple syrup, honey, bakeries, butchers, dairy and cheese vendors, a fish and seafood vendor, a chocolate vendor, florist, and crafters.

The Woodstock Farmers' Market celebrated 160 years in Woodstock in 2013.
